Our photo session together is only half of the entire photography service!
Within 24-48 hours, family will expect to receive a link to Adobe or Dropbox with the initial unedited proof images. There will likely be many more photos than you have purchased, thus these proofs have a logo obscuring the image. Select the images you love best to submit for final photo editing. Once you finalize your selections, I will spend hours editing your photos and return the final images to you in JPEG format via another Adobe or Dropbox link. The final images will not have a logo obscuring the image. You cannot change your selections once you have confirmed finalization of your decision. Additional proofs can be edited and purchased for a fee.
You will only receive the number of images you have selected for photo editing according to your agreed upon package/contract. The initial unedited proof images give you the freedom to decide which poses and expressions you prefer and are the property of Heather McDaniel Photography. Family is responsible for making the selections before I will begin editing the photos. Any delay to do so will also delay the amount of time you can expect to receive your final images.
Remember, the initial proof images will be edited for lighting, temperature, skin smoothing, et cetera and will look even better when completed. All solo images of your newborn will be retouched for skin tone and smoothing, and any temporary blemishes or marks that are expected to disappear shall be removed/retouched.
Additional photo editing services are provided according to the package you purchase with your contract, which may or may not include extensive editing such as teeth whitening, removal of stray hairs, blemish removal, clothing/backdrop color changes, et cetera.
